2017 Community Supported Agriculture Program – Only a few spots left in our Fall CSA

Our 2017 CSA program is open for registration. Spots are limited and we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible.  Spaces do go fast, so don’t delay!

Please note that our Spring and Summer shares are sold out for 2017. Thanks to everyone who registered already. Do do still have a few spots left in our fall program.

If you’re curious about our CSA program, take a look at our 2017 program guide. We have made some changes to the 2017 program from 2016. Our program is a great option for people in Surrey or New Westminster who want to eat healthy, while supporting a vibrant and sustainable food system.

We will be accepting 2017 new members on January 1st. Read about our 2017 program offerings in our CSA program details document.

What is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, a partnership between farmers and members. CSAs have grown in popularity over the years as a way for farmers to directly connect with their customers and guarantee sales for the season.  Having a commitment from customers before the season starts and the capital to start the year is a major asset for farms.

There are many reasons to join a CSA program, from supporting your local farm to eating the freshest produce available, but the advantages don’t stop there. Members also receive weekly emails with recipes, farm updates and other fun facts to keep them connected with the people and land that grows their food. Our CSA members have priority on limited quantity and specialty items, such as eggs and other farm goodies.

If you think you might be interested or would like to learn more, read our Zaklan Heritage Farm 2017 CSA Program Details document. It provides price breakdowns, share options and other useful information about what it is to be a CSA member.
